My family took a quick hike around the lake at Little Beaver State Park in WV. This is actually the spillway since the water was low.

This is the bridge that we walked over to get to Sandstone Falls in New River Gorge National Park and Preserve in WV.

Saturday, 08/29/2026: Post photo — Sandstone Falls.

The largest waterfall on the New River, Sandstone Falls spans the river where it is 1500 feet wide. Divided by a series of islands, the river drops 10 to 25 feet.
